We are committed to making Brampton the safest city possible which includes being prepared to manage major emergencies in our community. This website demonstrates our continuous effort to bring you useful information to help you prepare for and handle major emergencies.
The Emergency Measures office is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining programs geared towards prevention, response and recovery of major emergencies that could have disastrous impacts on our community. In contrast, the City of Brampton's Fire & Emergency Services provides the regular prevention and response to daily emergencies and calls upon the the Emergency Measures office for support during wide scale emergencies.

Emergency Measures Programs
The City of Brampton recognizes that emergencies can happen any time and anywhere. This is why we are serious in our preparation to coordinate emergency measures. This section will demonstrate the programs we have developed as a municipality to prepare for emergencies.
